Anaja Fletcher - Intern

Devon Burton Intern at Alpha Book Publisher

I attended Savannah State University, which is an HBCU with a small English program. Savannah State University, helped shape my view of reading and writing because of the close relationships the students and professors have. By going to a smaller university where the English major is very small, helped me advance in my writing and got hands on criticism to make me better and further my joy for literature. I was searching for an internship in my field, it is so hard to find a career in something you love and I know that I had to start with an internship. The way that this internship is set up is what got me, the fact I am learning how to publish a book by publishing my own book, really grabbed my attention. I am excited to get into the process and be able to not only come out with something I am proud of but be able to network as well. I am a hopeless romantic, and good story with a good romance gets me every time. But, I want to test myself and for the book I want to create I want to test my skills and write something more into the mystery genre and horror.
