A Little Bit About Me
I am an English major at Hunter College. In high school, I took a creative writing class which exposed me to different genres of creative writing, such as podcasts, short stories, spoken word poetry, and plays. Hearing feedback from other people who are enthusiastic about my voice as a writer motivated me to develop my writing skills and continue crafting my stories.
In college, I heard about the publishing industry for the first time and thought it seemed like a career option that would be well suited for me, so I wanted to get some kind of experience in the field.
Through this internship, I hope to learn the ins and outs of the publishing industry and develop myself as a writer. I would love to contribute to the publishing industry as an editor and writer through my love of engaging with diverse literature.
