My Bio

I am a college student at Texas A&M University of San Antonio and will graduate this fall. During my college years, my work was published in our award-winning student newspaper The Mesquite.

I have always loved books and wanted to get involved in the publishing world so working with Alpha book publisher is a great opportunity. I expect to gain experience that would allow me to have a career in the publishing industry.

I love all genres and I am passionate about all things writing so I see myself contributing to the publishing industry by incorporating my passion in these areas.

My longer-term career goal in the publishing field is to help publish books and write my own. I envision myself making an impact in the industry by sharing personable stories that audiences can relate to.

I have had prior writing experiences in the journalism field to creative writing. These opportunities have fueled my passion for writing and allowed me to embody different essential writing styles.

I won SPJ’s Region 8th Mark of Excellence for general small news reporting, for my article about A&M San Antonio’s partnership with the San Antonio Zoo.
