A Little Bit About Me
I’ve always had a wild imagination for as long as I can remember. I always assumed that everyone was like me, dreaming about sci fi universes at night and zombie apocalypses during the walk home from school. Seeing love stories play out in my head when I hear a love song. I’ve never had writer’s block, which sets me apart from the writing bunch.
Having all these stories swirling in my mind all the time inspired me to pursue writing as a career, so I started working as a freelancer and getting clients online. I assisted content creators with writing their scripts and planning their stories. It eventually evolved into editing work my clients sent my way.
However, none of my freelancing work was done through an official contract so my clients are not viable sources I can cite on a resume. It does give me experience working in the field on a semi-professional level. Even so, I’m still looking to get more experience before I graduate college with my bachelors.
Ideally, I see myself contributing to the publishing industry as a novelist and editor. I write in genres such as Romance, Historical Fiction, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Historical Fantasy, Realistic Fiction, and Poetry. In my freshman year of high school I won an award for my fictitious short story “What We Lose” and the story was published on the school website until I graduated. I also reached the semi-finals for a submitted poem called “Beasts” in the Poetry Nation contest hosted by Eber & Wein Publishing. Other than that, most of my work is published online through literary platforms such as Wattpad and my screenplays are brought to life on YouTube.
