Copy of Copy of Aliyah Soliz Bio

For as long as I could remember, and ever since I’ve had a nintendo DS XL, I would always write stories for school and fun. In school around 2nd grade joined an oral sory UIL competition and writing letters to my future self for me to find later.

When I got older, I had got a phone and edited texts sent to me, correcting them, being an over achiever with my English teachers and loving how writing was my natural superpower.

I am now trying to pursue a degree in English and would like to earn more in other areas.

  • What is your educational background, and how has it shaped your interest in writing and publishing?

For as long as I could remember, and ever since I’ve had a nintendo DS XL, I would always write stories for school and fun. In school around 2nd grade joined an oral sory UIL competition and writing letters to my future self for me to find later. When I got older, I had got a phone and edited texts sent to me, correcting them, being an over achiever with my English teachers and loving how writing was my natural superpower. • What inspired you to pursue an internship with Alpha Book Publisher, and what are your expectations for this experience?

When I heard I had the chance to learn more about the process and get our own physical copy, I was excited to apply! I have always been a writing and english nerd, a creative medium, and self expressionate through my work. It was a must for me to at least try. I hope to learn a little more of the inside tips and tricks behind the scenes, network, and gain knowledge on the industry to further my knowledge and equip me for my future in writing/editing/publishing hobby and/or passion projects.

  • Are there any specific genres or topics you are passionate about? How do you see yourself contributing to the publishing industry in these areas?

I have a voice and wish to express things from my viewpoint on life and anything else my mind explores, while relaying it to those that are willing to listen.

  • What are your long-term career goals in the publishing field? How do you envision yourself making a significant impact in the industry?

I hope to be an editor or working for a firm in the future who would love to publish me and support my future visions. I would love guidance and to guide others. I would love to collaborate and expand my styles/works and different mediumships to relay meaningful or personal and fun messages to those who want to know more about myself and experiences or find something oddly compelling in my work.

  • Have you had any prior writing or publishing experiences? If so, how have they influenced your passion and aspirations?

Yes! I was part of another club who had aspired to publish young writers in West Texas. After they had published their book, their schedule was busy and booked, traveling and living an entirely new life in 2 months. So unfortunately, the club eventually disbanded, but we are all connected through writing, with styles diverse and beautiful.

  • Are there any notable achievements, awards, or recognition you have received related to your writing or publishing endeavors?

When I was taking courses to prepare me for college, I wrote a piece that granted me a certificate of outstanding composition and english from the local college.
