DC Comics has several science fiction graphic novels that feature time travel as a central theme:
"The Flash: Flashpoint" - This event series tells the story of Barry Allen, the Flash, as he travels back in time to prevent a tragedy from occurring. However, his actions have unintended consequences, causing a ripple effect that drastically alters the DC Universe.
"Superman: Superman: Last Son of Krypton" - The story follows Superman as he travels back in time to Krypton to save the planet from destruction, and ends up rescuing a young boy named Chris Kent, who becomes his adopted son.
"Kingdom Come" - Written by Mark Waid, this graphic novel is set in the future and depicts a world where the older generation of superheroes have retired and a new, violent generation has taken their place. The story follows Superman as he returns from self-imposed exile to stop the impending war between the heroes.
"Superman: Superman: Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?" - Written by Alan Moore, this two-part story is set in the future, and depicts Superman's final battle with his most powerful enemies, as well as the end of his career as a superhero.
"Batman: Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne" - Written by Grant Morrison, this six-issue series tells the story of Bruce Wayne, who is sent back in time by Darkseid, and must fight his way back to the present in order to stop the villain.
These are some of the most popular and critically acclaimed time travel comics from DC, but there are many more to explore.
