In addition to publishing novels, Ad Astra will also feature new stories by other writers. These will include The Best of World SF, a collection of new stories by 26 SF writers from around the world, as well as the Ada Palmer series, which will bring new stories by Elodie Harper, Min Jin Lee, and Adrian Tchaikovsky.

Previously, Ad Astra has sold more than 500,000 copies of its paperback editions. The titles that it has published in the past include Unconquerable Sun by Kate Elliott, Attack Surface by Cory Doctorow, The Lost Colony by A.G. Riddle, and Hold Up the Sky by Cixin Liu. In addition, the imprint has plans to release new paperback editions of Cixin Liu's Three-Body Trilogy. This will be followed by Simon Ing's We, Robots in 2021.
