About the Hungry Bookworm
The Hungry Bookworm brings together literature and food. Megan has an insatiable appetite for both. As C.S. Lewis said, “Eating and reading are two pleasures that combine admirably.” Enjoy!
Meet Megan
Hi, I'm Megan. I love reading and eating - Rory Gilmore is my spirit animal. I also like writing, so here we are.
I'm a member of two regularly-meeting book clubs and one sporadically-meeting book club. I am a huge fan of libraries. My to-read list is way too long.
As for food, I've always loved eating and trying new foods. I gave culinary school a try but ultimately decided I preferred cooking for fun. When I'm not cooking at home, I'm usually out trying something new at a restaurant.
"One cannot think well, love well, sleep well if one has not dined well." - Virginia Woolf

A very special thank you to my friend Liz for creating the hungry bookworm logo!
Unless otherwise specified, I choose the books and recipes without influence from an outside party, including authors. Book links and select other links are affiliate links, which means I receive compensation if you make a purchase directly through that link. Affiliate links do not add any additional cost to the item you purchase; the price remains the same. Links to other blogs, recipes, and articles are not meant to imply an endorsement from the owner/publisher of that content.
