About the Country

Andorra is a small, landlocked country located in the Eastern Pyrenees mountains, between France and Spain. It is the sixth smallest nation in Europe and has an area of 181 square kilometers. The population of Andorra is over 77,000 people. The official language is Catalan. Andorra has a unique political system, being a co-principality with the President of France and the Bishop of Urgell, Spain as co-princes. It has a parliamentary democracy and operates as a parliamentary constitutional diarchy. It is not a member of the European Union, but it has a customs union agreement with the EU and uses the Euro as its official currency.

Andorra is a popular tourist destination, known for its skiing and hiking in the Pyrenees mountains, as well as its duty-free shopping. The country's economy is heavily dependent on tourism, with more than 10 million visitors annually. The country also has a well-developed banking sector and a growing real estate market.
