About the Country

Nepal is a country located in South Asia, bordered by India to the south, east and west, and China to the north. The capital and largest city is Kathmandu. The population of Nepal is around 29 million people. The official language is Nepali.

Nepal has a rich cultural heritage and a long history, including periods of domination by various empires such as the Mughal and British empires. In 1768, Nepal declared itself as an independent country.


Nepal has a developing economy, with a large agricultural sector, as well as a growing service sector, including tourism, remittances, and construction. However, the country still faces challenges such as poverty, corruption, and political instability. The government, led by Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli, has been implementing economic policies to address these issues and promote economic growth.


Nepal is a federal parliamentary republic. The country has a long tradition of democracy and human rights, but it has faced political challenges in recent years, including political tensions and electoral disputes.

In this, an article popped up which says Nepal was under the domination of Mighal and British empire and got its independence in later part of17 th century.


This information is bluntly wrong, absolutely baseless, and it seems like someone has written either out of total ignorance or something other intentions.


If someone is unsure about such a big, truth, how can you believe in other ideas in writing?!
