About the Country

Burundi is a small landlocked country located in East Africa, bordered by Tanzania to the east and north, Rwanda to the north, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west. The capital and largest city is Gitega. The population of Burundi is around 11 million people. The official languages are Kirundi and French.
