A Little Bit About Me
My name is Morelle Toussaint, and I am a recent graduate from Miami Dade College, where I earned an Associate's degree in English with a high honors distinction. I am eager to apply my academic achievements and passion for writing in an internship with Alpha Book Publisher.
This opportunity will not only expand my understanding of the publishing world but also equip me with the necessary skills to progress toward my long-term goal of becoming a published author. I envision myself making a significant impact in the publishing/writing industry by exploring the diverse facets of humanity through my writing, therefore, allowing readers to connect with characters on a deeper emotional level.
I am passionate about the genre of romance, both heterosexual and LGBTQ, with a focus on racial minorities. In this genre, I will explore expanding on different types of love, focusing on their unique intricacies and describing a story that readers will fawn over. I will also incorporate other topics alongside romance, such as abusive families, suicide, and how death impacts individuals and their capabilities to learn to love afterward.
I have no published works. However, I am working on a book and may look into submitting to different magazines.
