A Little Bit About Me
I began my private school education in 6th grade at The MacDuffie School in Granby, MA. My educators there gave me a love for writing and poetry, and I really found my desire to write fiction when I was attending college at the University of California, Fresno. I will graduate with a Creative Writing degree in the Spring of 2025.
I have learned a lot about how to write and structure pieces of literature from my educators, but I’m hoping this internship will help me gain the knowledge of the publishing process I need to pursue a further career in writing and publishing.
I have grown to adore poetry, but fantasy is my passion. I hope to contribute inclusivity into the realm of fantasy literature. This applies to the LGBTQIA+ community as well as characters of different ethnicities, where other authors have created one or two minority characters in series, I hope to normalize it in my books.
I hope to have my own series of fantasy novels, where different characters come together in friendship and love, without excessive smut. I want to provide relatable characters to people who feel like they have no one representing them, like myself.
Unfortunately, no. I didn’t embrace my love for writing until recently, so I haven’t entered many writing competitions or been offered the chance to be published.eavor to do so.
