My Bio
I’m currently getting my bachelors in Psychology, which has given me a deep understanding of human behavior, emotions, and motivations. It has taught me how to analyze and understand the complexities of the human mind, which I can put into narratives and relatable characters in my writing. I have always had an interest in writing since I was a kid. My mind had so many ideas that I needed to write down.
I’ve been really interested in storytelling and I see this internship as the opportunity to learn from professionals in the publishing industry and see how the concept of writing a manuscript becomes published. I expect this experience to be hands-on exposure to the publishing experience, from editing and marketing.

I am very passionate about fantasy and romance and topics about mental health in my stories. I enjoy making new realms and magical systems in fantasy and it uses a lot of creative imagination. Romance allows me to focus on developing relationships and the emotional depth. I see myself contributing by promoting stories that include these genres with strong character development and narratives.
I honestly haven’t thought about my long term career goals in the publishing field. I just want to have confidence in myself to publish.
I mostly wrote my stories on notebooks that are now hidden away due to embarrassment. Looking back at them, I realized how much I improved on writing and how I regained my passion to start writing again. I received third place in a writing contest years ago for a short story that I wrote.
