If you're not getting your haircut at Soft Skull, you're doing yourself, your hair, and your S.O. a disservice. Payne cuts my hair and he is ridiculously knowledgable, enthusiastic and talented. I feel like I get a haircut and a Masterclass in hair management all in one.
I can't speak to the men up front cutting hair, but my girl Sarah in the back is an amazing esthetician. I've been seeing her for almost 3 years now, previously in another location. Don't let the barber shop up front fool you, men and women are welcome to her services!
Sarah customizes each facial / service to the person she's seeing based on your skins needs. She's extremely well-versed in methods, products, and treatments to make you feel like your best self. I used to be super self-conscious about my skin and now I walk around with a naked face more often than not.
Prices are well worth the cost, and the experience is just really relaxing.
If a nuke hit Columbus and only the strongest survived, all the cockroaches would be lined up outside Soft Skull to get their hair cut by Paul.
Lack of electricity would mean the best playlists in Columbus would no longer be heard here - but that's not a problem - inside Soft Skull you would hear Bilmuri band tickling the strings and serenading the roaches with their acoustic deathcore.
Good haircuts for real though.
