Working at Self-Publishing School: Reviews
No Comment (Former Employee) - Remote - November 12, 2019
Although it was remote, it was not an ideal environment. Looks good in the talk and on the outside, but not on the inside. They dont walk the talk at all.
Controller (Current Employee) - Remote - November 19, 2019
When I first started looking at Self Publishing School I was worried about the company culture. I thought that being a remote company would dilute the culture. To my surprise the culture is much better than any of my previous jobs.
Teammate (Current Employee) - Remote - January 18, 2020
This is a team that feels like family, and that trickles down into the culture of the people we serve and the community we form. It's relatively young, so there's a learning curve for sure... but we also have a culture of learning from our mistakes, being honest and of integrity, taking responsibility, being change-makers, and doing our best. When all of us are working from these values, internally and externally, it's pure magic. I get regular messages from people about how SPS changed their lives. It's real. It's changed my life, too, from the inside, out. Being around people who are geniuses living out of their brilliance, doing what they were made to do, to HELP others? There's nothing like it. Sure, we've had hard conversations. We've had disagreements. We've failed. But we also create space to address those things and find ways to improve, grow, and make right.
